About Enragee Point Lighthouse

The location of the light is the northwest point of Cheticamp. The nearest city is Cheticamp, NS. The station was first established in 1937. The current lighthouse was first lit in 1955.

The lighthouse is a white octagonal tower with a red lantern.

The tower has a flashing white light at a focal plane height of 73 ft above mean high water. The light has a nominal range of 16 nautical miles. The tower height is 42 ft. The light has a period of 24 seconds.
