About Two Rivers Light

The location of the light is Rogers Street Fishing Village Museum / Two Rivers. The nearest city is Two Rivers, WI. The station was first established in 1886. The current lighthouse was first lit in 1928.

The lighthouse is a tapered square tower with a decagonal cast iron lantern room.

The light was rebuilt in 1928 as a result of years of deterioration. With the adoption of radar and LORAN, the Coast Guard determined that the light no longer performed a necessary function, and was extinguished in 1969. In 1975, the Coast Guard donated the entire structure to the Two Rivers Historical Society, who relocated it to the Rogers Street Fishing Village Museum
